Innocent Woman Shot at Bus Stop Outside Deli in East Flatbush – BROOKLYN

May 19, 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – An innocent bystander was shot waiting at a bus stop outside of a deli on Sunday evening, in East Flatbush, officials said.

According to authorities, shots rang out just before 8pm, leaving a 39-year-old woman injured after being struck by gunfire in the right leg.

The innocent victim was shot by a stray bullet while waiting for a B35 city bus at a stop located just outside of a deli near Church Avenue & Utica Avenue in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Officers from the 67th precinct responded to 911 calls for the shooting with injuries and removed a victim to Kings County Hospital with serious injuries.

The 39-year-old victim is expected to recover and last listed in stable condition, officials said.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation into the shooting incident is ongoing.
