Injector Operator – Grain Field Chickens Abattoir ,Reitz
Job Description
- Responsible for operating the injector machine according to standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
- N2 Mechanical engineering.
- 1 to 2 years’ proven experience as a machine operator within the FMCG environment.
- Working knowledge of diverse high- speed machinery.
- A willingness to work overtime, shifts and weekends when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up injector machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start production cycle.
- Control and adjust injector machines settings (e.g. speed).
- Feed raw material (brine) into injector machines.
- Visual inspection of parts.
- Test operation of machines daily.
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
- Perform other duties as may be required by line management.
Skills Required
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
- Ability to read manuals.
- Good communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Able to work under pressure.
