Manchester United are set to undergo a revamp and rebuild under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS contingent.
INEOS has already began making headway at the club as they seek to stamp their mark at Old Trafford.
As The Athletic report, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has now instructed Manchester United non-football staff back into their offices in Manchester and London.
According to the report, the British billionaire is of the opinion that the club must end its work-from-home culture.
The move has been led by INEOS and was announced to staff members during a meeting on Wednesday.
These plans did naturally receive some pushback from some members of the United’s executive leadership, including interim chief executive Patrick Stewart, whose departure was announced last night.
Some of the club’s employees had been working from home ever since the COVID 19 pandemic which forced some of offices to be reconfigured hence there isn’t enough desks for everyone to be present physically.
The report also states that Sir Ratcliffe assured the employees that Dan Ashworth will very soon be a Manchester United executive as they iron out the final details with Newcastle United.
The highly rated executive has been on gardening leave at St James’Park for a while now as the two clubs negotiate on valuation.
During the meeting, Sir Ratcliffe assured the Manchester United employees that he is intent on returning the club to the top of world football.
