The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pst. William F. Kumuyi yesterday Monday, held his Exclusive and Expository Monday Bible study at Abakiliki the capital city of Ebonyi State.
The programme which commenced at 6pm yesterday evening took another turn as a revival and miracle crusade especially when the Executive Governor stepped in with his “flamboyant” government officials.
What was even more fascinating was the fact that the Governor Engr. David Umahi metamorphosed into a chorus leader.
He surprised all and sundry by gracing the crusade ground with his wife and aides. He came in the company of eminent State personalities such as His Deputy; The speaker of the Senate House, Local Government officials and a list of other cabinet members.
Negroidhaven witnessed the event first hand. And to say that he ( Governor Umahi), brought the whole tier of Government is no exaggeration.!
The Governor later mounted the podium and wowed the enormous crowd of indigenes by leading a praise session in the Igbo dialect after which he thanked the man of God for visiting his state especially in times as this .
Such demonstration of humility on the part of the Governor touched the very heart of God's anointed vessel, to wit, Pst. Kumuyi which led him deliver a special, uncommon, heartfelt and an earth shaking prayer for the Governor , his administration and the State in general.
No doubt, such honour given to the man of God by one who should have sent delegates due to his busy schedules was commendable. Such gesture earned for him, his family and the entire people of the state a blessing which is unequalled to any other.
If not for anything, the Governor and his aides had tapped into divine blessings by doing what nobody had ever done.
Eye witnesses argued that this act by the Governor had never been done. Also, Papa Kumuyi has never lavished such prayers for any state nor Governor.
Ebonyi state no doubt had received a total transformation which is incontrovertible as well as unequalled.
