The state leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hereby directs that all caucuses at the chapter level should meet this morning and breakout into wards for the purpose of arriving at consensus based on party guidelines.
Caucuses are advised to adhere strictly to the party’s guidelines in achieving consensus.
But where consensus cannot be reached, the issue should be referred to the local government chapter for resolution.
If the local government is still unable to resolve it, the matter should be referred to the state leadership of the party.
It is also directed that every member of the party should restrict his or herself to his political ward.
This is to ensure a peaceful and transparent congress that is devoid of interference that might cast integrity question on the entire process.
