August 20, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A pizzeria worker was allegedly mauled by a customer’s pit bull and also attacked by the dog owner inside of a NYC pizza shop late Monday evening, cops said.
Tyshaun Watson, 35, was arrested and charged with an attempted murder along with assault in first degree due to a beat down on the worker. It’s alleged that Watson stomped on the head of a 50-year-old Roma Pizzeria employee, police said.
The Pit-Bull canine was allegedly off the leash inside of the pizza shop. The worker and victim supposedly asked the perpetrator to eat outside because of the dog.
Thats when police say the two men got into a verbal dispute over the dog when Watson turned violent and attacked the pizza shop worker who was also bitten multiple times by the loose Pit Bull.
According to police, the victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with critical injuries where he’s still at currently.
