Im Joo Hwan, Lee Ha Na, and more recently gathered at the script reading for KBS’s upcoming weekend drama!
“Three Siblings Bravely” (literal translation) is a lively family drama about three siblings and follows the romance of Lee Sang Joon, the eldest son who got everything while growing up. The story unpacks what happens when he falls in love with Kim Tae Joo, who is also the oldest of her siblings but instead grew up sacrificing everything for her family.
Present at the reading were director Park Man Young, writer Kim In Young, and actors Lee Ha Na, Im Joo Hwan, Kim Yong Rim, Jung Jae Soon, Lee Kyung Jin, Song Seung Hwan, Jang Mi Hee, Kim Seung Soo, Min Sung Wook, Wang Bit Na, Jung Soo Young, Lee Tae Sung, Kim So Eun, Moon Ye Won, Lee Yoo Jin, and more.
Im Joo Hwan will be starring as Lee Sang Joon, the eldest son of the Lee family. He has always been treated as a prince and has extraordinary love for his family. Lee Sang Joon grows up to be a successful actor who pays off his family’s debts, but one day, he gets into an accident during filming and lands in the hospital where he reunites with Kim Tae Joo, his first love from elementary school.
Lee Ha Na will be playing Kim Tae Joo, the eldest daughter of the Kim family who has given up and sacrificed everything for her younger siblings. However, she will willingly scream when she’s angry and she cuts off people she hates without hesitation.
Kim Seung Soo will play CEO Shin Moo Young while Wang Bit Na plays Jang Hyun Jung and Lee Tae Sung plays Cha Yoon Ho. Kim So Eun and Lee Yoo Jin play Kim So Rim and Kim Geon Woo, the second daughter and the youngest son in Kim Tae Joo’s family, while Moon Ye Won plays Lee Sang Joon’s younger sibling Lee Sang Min.
Kim Yong Rim appears as Yoon Gap Boon, Jung Jae Soon as Choi Mal Soon, Lee Kyung Jin as Yoo Jung Sook, Song Seung Hwan as Kim Haeng Bok, Jang Mi Hee as Jang Se Ran, Min Sung Wook as Jang Young Sik, and Jung Soo Young as Na Eun Joo.
After the reading, Lee Ha Na shared, “I believe ‘Three Siblings Bravely’ will become a drama that delivers touching emotion and fun, as well as a message.” Im Joo Hwan added, “[The script reading] was so fun to the point where I didn’t know how the time went by.”
KBS 2TV’s “Three Siblings Bravely” will premiere in September, following the conclusion of “It’s Beautiful Now.”
