Iheanacho shines as Manchester City beat Bournemouth 4-0 to keep their 100% record intact

3 on 3: Kelechi Iheanacho score one and assist one as Manchester City continued their perfect start to the season with a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

It’s only took few minutes when Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring for the hosts with a free kick after 15 minutes. The Belgium internation cheekily rolling the ball under the wall and in at the near post.

City bolstered another dreaded counter attack as Iheanacho later finished a superb move involving Nolito, De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling for the second. The position was difficult though, but the Nigerian international youngster did cool his head as he now have 3 goals in his last 3 games for the club.

Iheanacho was at his best as he set up Sterling in a similar fashion to his goal as the England international then sealed the points with City’s third in fine style – tapping into an empty net after great work from De Bruyne and Iheanacho. 

Ilkay Gundogan added a fourth after receiving a wonderful throw ball from De Bruyne who was spectacular in the entire game.

There was still time for late drama, however, Nolito shown a red card on 86 minutes for an attempted headbutt on Adam Smith. 

The win means Guardiola’s men are yet to lose or draw a match in all competitions as they keep their 100% camapign intact. Man City now sit up top of the league with 15th points in their last 5 games.
