NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games recently introduced new costumes to Mortal Kombat 1 that dress up some of the classic ninjas in their old school Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 outfits. The likes of Sub-Zero, Smoke, and even Scorpion can all now be equipped with one of their most iconic looks at the cost of some Dragon Krystals.
Naturally, these alternate outfits have fans wondering what other classic Mortal Kombat ninjas would benefit from similar looks in Mortal Kombat 1, and the big answer to that is Mileena and Kitana. These two legendary female ninjas look absolutely fantastic in their Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 skins thanks to these slick PC mods, and if the game’s developers ever make such outfits for Kitana and Mileena, they definitely need to look like this.
These stunning mods come from the mind of Haviksluz, who put together both the Kitana and Mileena UMK3 digs. For maximum beauty, the screenshots we have here come from the mastermind that is TQT.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 houses some of the most memorable designs the Mortal Kombat combatants have had over the years. For Kitana and Mileena, this means they throw on their blue and purple-ish bodysuits complete with face masks and boots.
For Mileena, this mod provides both a masked and unmasked version. So, if you’d prefer to go full on classic or want to intimidate your opponents with Mileena’s gnashing teeth, you are free to do so.
As the previous Mortal Kombat 1 classic costumes have already shown us, the Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 designs translate incredibly well over to the modern era. With the latest game’s highly detailed visuals, the retro outfits really shine bright and can’t help but make us imagine what a legitimate modern remake of UMK3 could look like in this day and age.
At the time this was written, you can officially purchase the Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 classic skins for Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Smoke from the Mortal Kombat 1 in-game shop. We truly hope that NetherRealm and Warner Bros. continue to make these costumes for other characters, and based on how great these Kitana and Mileena mods look, they should probably start with them.
