'I am Running for CRSHA come 2019' —Last Prophet

At a Youth Leadership conference titled: Not too Young to Lead, organised in collaboration with Youth Aflame Ministry (the youth wing of the Bible Christian Crusaders Mission, BCCM) and Leadership Den, held on Saturday 9 July at 55 Webber Street, Calabar (in the Church auditorium), Cross River State probably most successful Stand Up Comedian, Event Manager and Compere, Mr Awade Friday, popularly called Last Prophet announced his intention to vie for elective office in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.

The Obanlikwu indigene, while addressing the audience of youths in the church in an interactive session, as a resource person, declared that: 'I am running for state house in 2019'. He assured his listeners that he was confident he would win in the forth coming election because, according to him, 'I am on the street'. He also explained how part of his motivation stems from the fact that he has empowered 500 people and so many persons are reposing confidence in him.

Concerning the security challenge in the state capital, Calabar the Otwetwe master noted that 'we are doing temple run in Calabar presently', reminiscent of the popular mobile game that is obtainable in Android devices. He lambasted the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, for using the brain of an 82 years old man to run contemporary Nigeria.

Also, in the same Youth leadership conference, the state Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Ndiyo Ndiyo and Esther Odey Cross River leading Beautician popularly referred to as Estel also disclosed their intentions to run for state house and federal house positions respectively.

In the words of Comr Ndiyo, 'If I can handle an office without cash, I will do better in an office with cash'.
