Job Summary
- The Human Resources Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s HR functions. The incumbent is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and administrative tasks to ensure a productive and harmonious workplace. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and reference checks.
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the organization.
- Maintain an updated database of job descriptions and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Support management in implementing disciplinary procedures and handling grievances.
- Foster open communication channels across all levels of the organization.
HR Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, organizational policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including contracts, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports, audits, and documentation for internal or external stakeholders.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and organize professional development programs for employees.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend improvements.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Assist in managing payroll processes and employee benefits administration.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and compensation.
HR Strategy and Projects:
- Support HR leadership in executing strategic initiatives, such as workforce planning, diversity, and inclusion programs.
- Participate in HR-related projects and organizational development activities.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR or a related role.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
