Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level HR Manager to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring that HR functions are effectively managed to support their hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will have strong HR management skills, with a proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance within the hospitality sector.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring for various positions within the organization.
- Manage onboarding procedures to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the company.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, addressing and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on performance issues and development plans.
- Assist in setting performance goals and assessing employee progress.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in employment legislation.
- Develop, update, and enforce company HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage payroll processes, employee benefits, and leave administration.
- Prepare and present HR reports and analytics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3yesrs of HR management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
