Dragon’s Dogma 2 vocations are separated into Starter and Advanced classes. The Starter vocations are available from the start and players can change between them easily from Vocation Guilds. On the other hand, the Advanced vocations must be unlocked first before players can acquire it. If you want to unlock the Warrior vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2, here we have provided the steps for it.
Warrior vocation is quite simple to unlock. First, you need to reach the city of Vernworth. The location is part of the early main quests so just go through them until you reach Vernworth. Next, you will need to find the Vocation Guild in Vernworth. The Vocation Guild is right below the Inn in Vernworth, and you will find a passage leading to it near the Inn’s entrance.
Talk to Klaus, the merchant in the Vocation Guild, and select the Change Vocation option. Here you will find the acquire option next to the Warrior as unavailable.
After exiting the Change Vocation menu, Klaus will tell you that the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations are currently available due to a shortage of two-handed weapons and ArchStaffs. The shipment for these weapons was sabotaged on the way, and you need to get them back to unlock the Warrior vocation.
Now, Klaus will send you to the Armory for further information on the quest, and the armorer will send you to attack a goblin camp and reclaim the weapons. However, you don’t need to follow the quest. Simply finding any two-handed weapon and showing it to Klaus will unlock the Warrior vocation.
If you haven’t found any two-handed weapons yet, then simply follow the quest, which will take you to a goblin lair in the Trevo Mine. The place is stacked with goblins, and assuming you are early level, try to play it safe and take them out one by one. Also, at one point after entering the Trevo Mine, the path will split into two. Pick the path on the right and the first room you enter will have a chest.
This chest will have the two-handed sword you need to unlock the Warrior Vocation. This cave also has the Archstaff to unlock the Sorcerer class, so you can either unlock it as well or return back. Take the sword back to Klaus by Fast Traveling to Vermouth and hand it over. This will unlock the Warrior vocation and you will be able to acquire it now.
