Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and even if you haven’t found a date yet, Fisch has got you covered. This week, Fisch brings a special Valentine’s update along with a brand new event where you can get a chance to catch the Lovestorm Eel. Although the task is easier said than done due to its exceptional negative progress speed effect, we are here. So with that, let’s fish together as we show you how to catch the Love Eel in Fisch.
Lovestorm Eel Location in Fisch
The Lovestorm Eel can only be caught during the rare event occurring near Roslit Bay in Fisch. So, if your spawn point is not set to this specific island, head straight to the Shipwright and spawn your boat.
Now, sail to the west of Moosewood to reach Roslit Bay, which is located near these coordinates: -1450, 135, 750. You can always use a Fisch GPS found in Moosewood to make things easier. Now, all you need to do is wait for the event and be ready with your boat.
Once you get notified about the event at the top of your screen, activate your fish radar and locate a pink-shaded region with pink clouds on top. Here, you will find the massive beast encircling the shaded area. Since this is a similar event to the Megalodon and the Kraken, you can try spamming Sundial Totems to slightly increase the chances of this event occurring.
How to Catch the Lovestorm Eel in Fisch
Having reached the event area, get ready with the best rod you have. Check out our Fisch Rod tier list if you find yourself confused. Since it’s a higher-tier fish, you must meet the following conditions to increase its spawning rate. Here are the preferred baits and times for the Love Eel in Fisch:
- Favourite Bait: Truffle Worms
- Weather: Any Weather
- Time: Night
Furthermore, if you manage to reel in the Lovestorm Eel, your fishing rod will get a -90% progress speed effect. However, if you catch the Supercharged Love Eel, this turns to -95%. Furthermore, do note that the latter will also give you a better selling price, so try your best to catch it!
So, using a rod with high Resilience and Control is highly recommended. Here, you can either use the Heaven’s Rod or go with the Kraken Rod to take advantage of its passive.
Coming to enchantments, you must go with Resilient or Steady if your rod has enough Lure Speed stat for instant hooks. Alternatively, you can use the Hasty enchantment to increase the Lure Speed of your rod. Finally, you should redeem some of the latest Fisch codes to get some baits for free.
