Seeing cities like Calabar, Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Uyo, Kano, Kaduna, Abuja, Jos, Ibadan, and other state capitals with well named Street signpost makes you feel the civilization within, especially as it keeps your way clean throughout the cities. But, why concentrate on state capitals alone whereas we have other big towns that also harbours a population that needs directions. People need something to lead and guide them through whenever they’re lost, so this is also needed. Thank God things has begin to change in Cross River.
When I passed through the town of Ugep, the largest village in West Africa, I saw this new development that called my attention, I have to pause and wait and take photos of the project that has made the town more renown that before. All thanks to the able government of Cross River State, this is why I always boast about my state outside. This is why I love Cross River.
This should also be extended to big towns like Ikom, Ogoja and Obudu within the state as it’ll attract more tourist activities in which we are meant for. With this in full place, it’ll help the state in terms of online trade and other interstate trade concerning addresses issues we used to have and still having today.
This is Ugep…..!
