We previously highlighted how Jamie can technically avoid a projectile using one of his taunts, though the animation goes on for a bit too long for him to not be punished in a follow up. What’s interesting about this taunt is that the duration that Jamie lies prone on the ground is dependent on his Drink Level.
As silly as it may seem, Boltstrike was actually able to win a match by using the low profile properties of Jamie’s taunt while at Drink Level 4. He posted the clip to Twitter that covers the entire segment.
With only nine seconds on the clock remaining as the clip begins, Boltstrike already had a pretty significant lead. Seeing as how the opposing Ken player only had a little more than a sliver of life remaining, a comeback was appeared quite improbable.
Boltstrike proceeded to taunt for the purpose of stalling out the time with the low profile properties of Jamie’s taunt. Initially, the opposing Ken player gave the impression that they had given up as they were simply holding forward, but eventually they’d notice that there was an opening that could be capitalized on.
Following this, Ken would then whiff four Drive Impacts while Jamie was seemingly taking a nap. Ken’s level 1 Super Art was then able to pick Jamie off the ground and was even able to stop the clock for a brief period. However, it was all for naught as Jamie had already won due to a time over.
