It usually seems Street Fighter is typically first in line to receive nice premium statues like Juri and Chun-Li in bunny costumes, but the world warriors don’t have anything quite like this.
Scorpion’s most iconic Fatality is being recreated in a new Mortal Kombat statue that has added features to make it even hotter compared to your typical figures.
Iron Studios recently put up their upcoming Scorpion Fatality statue for pre-order on their website that longtime fans may truly want to put on display.
The special diorama flashes back all the way to the original Mortal Kombat with Scorpion performing what would become his signature finishing move of his fire breath onto Sub-Zero before he turns to bones.
Standing there holding his mask, the yellow ninja’s flaming skull is on full display, shooting fire down to the feet of his nemesis standing there in a heap of pain.
It can be difficult to tell from some of the promotional / concept photos, but the diorama does includes not only the part of the stage the ninjas are standing on with the MK dragon logo on the front, but they even have the health bars and timer held up above the characters on the posts.
And the coolest thing is they claim the fire on Scorpion’s head and at Sub-Zero’s feet is going to be lit up by LEDs to make it really stand out.
Iron Studios doesn’t seem to include the full dimensions here, but one photo states it’s planned to be 10.6 inches tall, 13.6 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep.
Although the statue appears to be listed at just $110 USD, it appears this is just the deposit with the full price being set at $550.
The makers state they plan to launch this fiery Scorpion in the third quarter of 2025, but it seems they still need final approval from the rights holders before it can be made a reality.
