CHICO — Civilians will salute the men and women who served our country in uniform at various commemorations for Veterans Day.
The Chico Veterans Ring of Honor (pictured), which stands outside Panther Stadium on the Chico High School campus, has recognized military members of local schools since its dedication on this date in 2022.
Veterans Day observances today include parades in Oroville and Corning at 11 a.m.; flags lining Skyway in Paradise; and a ceremony (with lunch) starting 10:30 a.m. at Manzanita Place in Chico — across the traffic circle from where Wildwood Park is being renamed Veterans Park.
