There’s been rumours before now that Honourable Paul Adah has been pinched by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) fews days ago under some unscrupulous activities which we are yet to verify.
Moreso, there’s been some controversies between Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade and Hon. Paul Adah on issues concerning the later giving out his properties to the strong political opposition, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Till date, Calabar Reporters’ is yet to reckon the reason for the arrest of Paul Adah by the EFCC. But, information reaching us now states that he’s been released on bail terms.
The bail which was secured through the efforts of a Kaduna-based lawyer did not come easy.
“The lawyer confided in me that Hon. Paul Adah made attempt at reaching Bola Tinubu through his P.A, but Tinubu replied that he doesn’t meddle in EFCC matters, especially taking into consideration the magnitude of fraud he is involved in.” Denis Undie Agada said.
Hon. Paul was in EFCC custody for three days.
