Hon. Mike Etaba, member representing Etung/Obubra Federal Constituency at the National Assembly has lauded governor Ben Ayade for keeping to his promise of providing the riverine community of Obubra with a Pontoon to aid their movement across the river to other nearby communities.
Before now, the people in the riverine community were usually using smaller boats which barely carries more than 20 persons across.
But, with the delivery of the pontoon, over 150 people, cars and other heavy equipment can now be transported to Ogurude and other communities instead of going the long way through Ebonyi State by road before accessing the communities.
Etaba, who described Ayade as a talk and do governor, who make real his promise of a pontoon to the Obubra people, urged Obubra indigenes to come out en mass and support Ayade's 2019 re-election bid.
He urged the operators to make judicious use of the pontoon.
