Hon Abbey, a former law maker in the Cross River State House of Assembly said while addressing the IDPs that government is poised to deliver the dividends of democracy to the least person hence her presence in Bakassi to enforce that mandate.
Speaking, she admonished the women to keep the faith up regardless of the situation they find themselves and make good use of every opportunity as it presents itself.
“The Governor is interested in women, widows, children, the vulnerable weak and poor, that is why he formed the department of Gender and you are all family and everybody is important, special and loved. Every single child here is a gift to the world.
This is the season of love and that is why we have come to share” – she said.
