In 1182, Moroccan Berbers built the La Giralda in Seville, Spain during the era of the Almohads.
At that time, Morocco ruled some of North Africa and Andalusia (half of Spain and Southern Portugal).
Today, Seville is famous in her buildings, all thanks to the Moroccan antiquities between 1182 – 1212.
The minaret of the Great Mosque of Seville is one of those works.
