Information reaching Negroidhaven.org (Negroid Haven) from our source indicates that an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has been nominated for coronation as 'Ntufam', a traditional chieftaincy title, by the Qua people of Calabar on 25 June.
According to Joe Oko Odey, the media aide to the said APC chieftain, 'The traditional ‘Ntufam’ chieftaincy title will be conferred on Prince Hilliard Eta, National Vice Chairman (South South Zone) of the All Progressives Congress on Saturday June 25, in Calabar, Cross River State'.
The recognition which is reserved for worthy and eminent citizens who have contributed tangibly to the development of the people of Calabar and the state generally will have the installation ceremony conducted by the apex traditional ruler (Ndidem) of the Qua, HRM (Dr.) Patrick Inok Oqua Agbor V, who will be assisted by his royal council at his palace in Calabar Municipality.
Dignitaries from all walks of life, party faithful and well wishers are expected to grace the august occasion.
