Illaoi was recently showcased in 2XKO. As such, there ended up being five playable characters at Evo Japan 2024 alongside Darius, Ekko, Ahri, and Yasuo.
During this event, it would seem that SonicFox and Supernoon had the opportunity to test 2XKO against one another in some high level matches. Considering both players’ histories with versus fighting games, this means that we now have the highest level of gameplay that we’ve seen for 2XKO so far.
SonicFox’s team consists of Illaoi and Ahri. While Illaoi plays like a bruiser, Ahri fulfills a zoning role within 2XKO.
As for Supernoon, he’s using Ekko and Darrius. Both of these fighters seem to excel at fighting opponents up close.
The video uploaded featuring this match gameplay spans for over 13 minutes. Watching this gameplay gives us some idea on how tournament level gameplay could look like in the early days after 2XKO is released.
