HiFight breaks down all the revealed changes that we saw during the Season 2 balance update trailer as they happen

Just yesterday, Capcom dropped the Season 2 balance trailer for Street Fighter 6. As such, fans got a sneak peak at about one change for each of the 21 characters already playable.

We’ve already provided a breakdown of every adjustment for characters shown in the trailer, but HiFight has recently released a video that details every change as they happen in the trailer. Needless to say, this gives us a visual guide for each adjustment.

The video starts by highlighting how Ryu can now perform a Denjin Charge at the end of a target combo. It’s also indicated that only the heavy and Overdrive versions of Ryu’s fireball will consume his Denjin Charge whereas the light and medium versions will throw normal fireballs.

Though many fans were expecting an exhausting list of nerfs for Luke, the perceived best character in the game right now, it seems that even he received a buff that was worth highlighting in the trailer. Now, Luke is able to combo into a perfectly charged light Flash Knuckle from his standing heavy punch, slightly improving combo options.

Of course, it’s important to keep in mind that this is just a small preview of the changes coming to Street Fighter 6 on May 22, 2024. This means that the full patch notes will be dropping any day now. We’ll be sure to cover them when the times comes here on EventHubs.
