Cheater-ception?
Cheating has been a constant problem for Street Fighter 6. Earlier this month, Broski elaborated on how to identify cheaters, which also gives us some insight on how to defeat them. Some time later, Smug demonstrated how it’s possible to beat those who seek to rank up through a shortcut.
Now that we’ve established that cheaters can be beaten, we have to wonder what would happen if two cheaters were ever matched up against one another. Xuses recently uploaded an amusing video that demonstrates the occurrence of this phenomenon.
Cheater 1 is using M. Bison while the second cheater is playing as Cammy. Any human player would have to be especially careful against either of these two characters due to their strong punish tools.
As one might expect, this ends up being a fairly passive game. This is due to the nature of how these cheat scripts are designed to wait for the opponent to do something, then punish them with inhuman reactions.
There are plenty of interactions in which the two just continuously walk up to one another and attempt a throw. Needless to say, we end up seeing multiple throw techs in a row until one of the scripts just randomly decides to take the throw.
Additionally, both players have their Perfect Parries down, though it seems that both scripts sometimes have difficulties deciding on the correct punish given the specific set of circumstances.
Ultimately though, both players are the villains of this story. Though we’re rooting for both of them to come away with a loss, one of them ends up emerging victorious.
