Here's a look at the new classic ninja costumes from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 added to Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 was recently updated to add Peacemaker as a DLC fighter. In addition to the balance adjustments that were made with that patch, some interesting skins that pay homage to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 have been made available for purchase.

For 600 Dragon Krystals, Sub-Zero’s Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 costume bundle can be acquired. Additionally, 500 Dragon Krystals can be spent to get Smoke’s Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 costume bundle.

Sub-Zero’s costume is interesting as it’s actually a costume for Kuai Liang, the Scorpion of Mortal Kombat 1, rather than the Sub-Zero of this game, Bi-Han. This is the version of Sub-Zero where he is without a mask.

As for Smoke, this is essentially his classic ninja look. Considering that ninja Smoke hasn’t been playable since Mortal Kombat 9 (skipping Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11), it’s been a good while since we’ve seen Smoke like this.

Included in the bundles are some interesting palette swaps. One of Smoke’s variations actually has him looking like Rain in his classic costume.

500 Dragon Krystals can be purchased for $4.99, which is enough to acquire the Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Smoke skin. Unfortunately, there’s no option to buy 600 Dragon Krystals for the Sub-Zero costume, so the best course of action would probably be to get 1,250 Dragon Krystals for $9.99, which is enough for both costumes (with 150 Dragon Krystals remaining).
