M. Bison is the first character releasing for the Year 2 Character Pass on June 26. By this point, everyone should’ve already seen M. Bison’s level 1, level 2, and level 3 super arts.
However, M. Bison’s gameplay trailer did not show us his Critical Art animation. Fortunately for us, we don’t have to wait until June 26 to see this animation play out as Capcom recently invited certain content creators to record some early footage of M. Bison in action.
A few days ago, b_HAUNT uploaded a video that highlighted the differences between M. Bison’s level 3 super art and his Critical Art. Needless to say, these two scenes play out very differently from one another.
Like many other Critical Art animations, the opposing character actually tries to fight back. They’ll attempt a blind swing at M. Bison, but the amnesiac dictator is easily able to dodge the attack by essentially standing on their outstretched arm.
Following this, M. Bison will then perform a backflip to secure some space between him and his enemy. “Unlimited Psycho Crusher!” exclaims M. Bison as he does this.
Rather than drilling into the opponent like he does during his level 3 super art animation, M. Bison will instead generate enough energy to cause an explosion upon making contact with his attack. M. Bison will have his back turned to the opponent as they lay motionless.
As expected, M. Bison’s Critical Art deals a little extra damage compared to his level 3 super art. Ultimately, hitting with the Critical Art raw will inflict somewhere around 40-50% damage against a character with average life.
