Earlier today, Bandai Namco dropped the Kazuya Mishima Tekken 8 trailer. Although we’re already well aware that Kazuya is one of the playable characters in Tekken 8, this new trailer provided a lot of insight about how Kazuya will feel and play in the upcoming fighting game.
In response to this new trailer dropping, HBGP released a video that outlines 10 details about the Kazuya Mishima trailer that many might not have noticed. A lot of interesting things are highlighted in the 1:21 video.
It’s particularly interesting to see that Kazuya has adopted a few moves from Heihachi and Devil Jin. At the end of Tekken 7’s story mode, Heihachi was seemingly killed off at the end so it’s currently unknown if he’ll be able to return as a playable character in Tekken 8.
Previous games in the Tekken series has shown Kazuya’s Devil Blaster attack to be yellow. Uniquely, it’s now colored as blue or purple in Tekken 8.
If you look closely, a statue of Leroy Smith can be spotted in the background of the stage that Kazuya and Jin are fighting on during the trailer. Needless to say, Leroy appears to be a very likely candidate for joining Tekken 8’s roster.
