Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to optimize recovery rates while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing collections team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Utilize advanced data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and implement data-driven decision-making processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of collection strategies.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure collections practices adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulations and proactively implement adjustments to collection strategies as needed.
Performance Monitoring:
- Implement robust performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track and evaluate the effectiveness of collection strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of team performance and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
Training and Development:
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the collections team.
- Provide training on new strategies, technologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a call center collections environment focusing on collections
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful collection strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
