‘He has a terrible habit of bouncing back’
John Fury believes Anthony Joshua will beat Oleksandr Usyk when they rematch later this year to set up an undisputed clash with his son, Tyson Fury.
The self-styled Gypsy King will put his WBC heavyweight title on the line against mandatory Dillian Whyte in front of a record crowd at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night – with LIVE coverage on talkSPORT.

Thee winner will potentially move on to fight Joshua or Usyk for all the marbles, in a fight all boxing fans will want to see.
Fury Sr. is obviously backing his son to do the business, but is somewhat surprisingly picking Joshua to avenge his lopsided decision defeat to Usyk.
“AJ has been beat but he’s got a terrible habit of bouncing back and I fancy him to get the return”, John Fury told IFL TV.
“Truthfully, he’s capable of being a three-time world champion, he’s got that about him and, believe me, with a little bit more oil in his camp and the right people around him, I think he can do it.”
Joshua surrendered his WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight titles to the undisputed cruiserweight king, Usyk, in September 2021 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Two years earlier, the Olympic gold medallist dropped the same three belts when he suffered a shock seventh-round TKO loss to Andy Ruiz, before outpointing the Mexican in a rematch later that same year.
Fury is confident that Joshua will be able to become a champion once again if he changes his approach and perhaps brings some new people into his camp.
He said: “In his case, he just had the wrong plan from the off, didn’t he?
“If he changes his plan around and uses what he’s got to his benefit, I don’t see a problem.”
