And the character’s birthday too
There’s so much that can change in our lives with the dawn of a new year, but one thing will always remain a constant: fantastic cosplay.
To help ring in the new year and celebrate the character’s birthday, we’re back to take a look at one of our new favorite cosplayers in Japan’s Harukasu, who’s done multiple different designs of Street Fighter’s Juri with each of them looking distinct and beautiful.
We had previously covered Harukasu’s Juri through her bikini and leather biker suit costumes, but she’s got even more for the fav favorite fighter worth taking a gander at.
Let’s start off with her most recent works with Juri’s default Street Fighter 6 look since she doesn’t appear to have completed her new Outfit 3 pajamas yet.
The details look pretty spectacular from head (or hair spike) to toe with her immaculate wig, cool metallic take on Juri’s spiked collar and cuffs as well as just a great recreation of the sadistic martial artist’s clothes in general.
She does appear to be wearing a flesh colored undershirt to cover her chest, which is pretty understandable with the way Juri’s costume is designed, especially with those spider straps.
Speaking of arachnids, Harukasu is one of the only cosplayers we’ve seen put together Juri’s fan-designed Spider costume from Street Fighter 5.
The custom coat and arm band look absolutely perfect, and the girl captures the necessary attitude too with that motorcycle.
It’s been a minute since we’ve seen someone wear Juri’s popular second costume from SF5 as well with her pink bangs.
We just wish we could see more of it.
To close things out, we’ve also included a few more of Harukasu’s biker suit because why the hell not.
As for Street Fighter 6 itself, players can currently log in to the game to receive 1,000 Drive Tickets in celebration of Juri’s birthday until tomorrow, January 2 — plus special Juri-only tournaments in the Battle Hub.
