Mr. Harry Tyrone Courson, age 79 of Andalusia, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 1 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Oakey Ridge Church cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Mr. Courson is survived by his wife of 30 years, Althea Courson of Andalusia; daughters, Tamra Courson of Birmingham, Kimberly (Brian) Bauman of Birmingham, and Skiler Maggard; son, Dion Courson of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Dillon Courson and Aleah Ward; brother, Dennis (Becky) Courson of Andalusia; sister, Elaine Martin of Andalusia; and special nephew, Shane Rhoades of Andalusia.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Wilder.
Pallbearers will include Shane Rhoades, Dillon Courson, Wayne Lawson, Jeremy Bracewell, Jeb McDaniel, Jody Daughtry, Steven Carter, Clay Carter, and Dion Courson.
Flowers will be accepted by the family.
