Today marks the 43rd birthday of veteran Nigerian footballer, Augustine Azuka “Jay-Jay” Okocha. Okocha was born in Enugu, Eastern Nigeria and is married to Nkechi Okocha; the pair got married in 1997. The skillful playmaker is blessed with two children, Daniella Okocha and A-Jay Okocha.
The superstar was nominated for African Player of the Year which was later won by Samuel Eto’o of Cameroon. Jay Jay also won the BBC player of the year in 2004. Okocha played for Paris Saint-Germain of France, Hull City and Bolton Wanderers of England as a Central and Defensive Midfielder. He led the later from Championship to the English Premier League.
