After a couple of delays pushing it back, we now finally know when Guilty Gear Strive’s open beta test for the cross-platform play feature will be available.
Arc System Works announced today that Strive’s free crossplay beta is set to begin next Thursday, October 13.
The crossplay beta will be a separate program / download from the main Guilty Gear game with players able to access it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
What’s extra nice is the beta test is free to try for all whether you currently own the game or not, and on top of that, all 21 playable characters are included too — including Bridget.
Players will basically have complete access to the rest of Strive’s game modes as well besides just online matches except for Story and Arcade modes.
There’s only a 5-day window to get in on the action since the beta is set to end on October 17 where the developers are also likely going to be testing out Strive’s upcoming online and matchmaking improvements too.
The full release of the feature is set to launch in Guilty Gear sometime this Fall, so don’t worry too much if you miss out on the trial.
Crossplay will presumably be included with the recently announced Xbox version of Guilty Gear Strive whenever that arrives next year.
The #GuiltyGearStrive cross-platform beta test will take place on Oct 13th to the 16th.
Even if you don’t own the main story, you can participate for free, and all DLC characters can be played, so please join us 🔥
