Guilty Gear Strive ver. 1.33 patch notes

Guilty Gear Strive has received its latest update. Today, the game’s second DLC character for its third season, Elphelt Valentine, has been released after her big reveal trailer aired during The Game Awards 2023 last night.

Much like fighting game developers tend to do, Arc System Works has released the full set of patch notes for the version 1.33 update. Included in this patch is new content, battle balance changes, and more.

The biggest addition to the game after this patch, naturally, is Elphelt. There are four new DLC characters total that make up Season 3, and before Elphelt we saw Johnny added to the game while the final two are scheduled for release sometime next year.

Arc System Works also implemented numerous bug fixes as well, including visual improvements, corrections to the controls in certain areas, and more.

The ver. 1.33 patch features a slew of balance changes. From the looks of it, every fighter on the roster (except Elphelt, obviously) has received battle balance alterations.
