Guerrilla Journalist Says She Was ‘Illegally Detained’ for Confronting James Comey at Book Signing

    June 6, 20233 Mins Read

On Monday, independent journalist and former congressional candidate Laura Loomer says she was detained in Illinois after confronting James Comey, the former FBI director, at his book signing event.

“I was just ILLEGALLY DETAINED by Naperville police in Illinois after I confronted the former, criminal FBI Director James Comey at his book signing for his new crime novel!” Loomer tweeted. “Comey left the stage after I confronted him about why a criminal is writing crime novels. Video coming soon!”

“It’s too bad I was escorted out and illegally detained by the police after asking Comey my question,” the conservative firebrand continued.

“I really wanted to stay for the book signing and get my personalized books signed for my ‘friends husband’ Michael @GenFlynn, as in Michael Flynn and my dear uncle Roger, as in @RogerJStoneJr. Maybe next time!”

The former FBI Director James Comey has been pushing his new book “Central Park West” and doing media appearances. In a recent interview with Biden’s former White House press secretary Jen Psaki on her MSBNC show on June 4, he once again discussed his political preferences.

“It has to be Joe Biden,” Comey said in response to whether he intends to vote for Biden again.

“I’m glad he’s willing to serve,” Comey said. “It has to be somebody committed to the rule of law, committed to the values of this country,” Comey added. “And I’m not talking about policy. People can disagree about policy. There are things above those disagreements that all of us should think about the same way.”

“The president must be someone who abides the law and our Constitution,” he continued. “And there’s no one else but Joe Biden.”

Meanwhile, current FBI Director Christopher Wray is continuing to shield the Bidens from scrutiny by running multiple ongoing “investigations” into the First Family. On Monday, the House Oversight Committee announced it is initiating Contempt of Congress proceedings from Wray for withholding an FBI informant document that purportedly shows the Bidens participated in a multi-million dollar international bribery scheme.
