According to information reaching NHB from a reliable source, A 42-year-old mother of seven, One Mrs. Eunice Elisha, was in the early hours of saturday morning gruesomely murdered in cold blood by some unidentified assailants.
Laying credence to S.R, the murder incidence took place while the victim was evangelizing around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, a satellite town in the capital city of Abuja.
Further investigation revealed that the victim, Eunice was a Deaconess at the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Divine Touch parish to be precise which is located at Old NEPA Road, Phase 4, Kubwa.
The murder scene revealed traces of matchet cuts on the neck and a stab on the stomach area of the deceased.
A clear indication that she must have been hacked in the neck and also stabbed in the stomach. And later left to die in her own pool of blood.
Deductively, her killers must have attacked her intentionally and forcefully too as she was left to die in the pool of her blood with her Bible, megaphone, and cell phone.
Critical reactions and comments to this sad story have emerged. Some persons have argued that there is no doubt that the murder has a religious undertone.
Others in the same vein have argued that the murder must have been calculated and that, it is no case of Robbery premised upon the fact that as discovered, her cell phones and other valuables were still in tact.
However, we do hope that the police would carry out a proper investigation without hesitation and that the a detailed job be done to ensure that they apprehend the culprits of this inhuman act as soon as possible.
