About the Role

  • The Group Head of Business Development will drive growth by leveraging client relationships to generate referrals and managing the onboarding of new HNI clients and corporate partners.
  • The role involves identifying new markets, building a strong prospect pipeline, and creating tailored value propositions to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
  • Additionally, the Group Head will lead negotiations, close high-value deals, and develop strategies to maximize revenue across business channels.
  • Collaborating with the Client Engagement and Marketing teams, the role will design digital campaigns and oversee the creation of promotional materials to boost brand visibility.
  • The role also involves organizing events to strengthen client and corporate partner relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Strategy:

  • Identify and evaluate new markets, opportunities, and trends to inform the business development strategy.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, maintaining engagement throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenue potential from existing and new business channels.
  • Craft tailored, data-driven value propositions that address client needs and enhance competitive positioning.

Client and Partner Engagement:

  • Leverage relationships with existing clients to generate high-quality HNI referrals and expand the business portfolio.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new corporate partners, ensuring they are aligned with company values and strategic goals. Build and nurture long-term partnerships, driving mutual growth and value creation.
  • Lead negotiations with HNI clients and corporate partners to close high-value deals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue targets.

Digital and Marketing Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute impactful digital and media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Oversee the development of promotional materials and strategic messaging tailored to target audiences.

Event and Experience Management:

  • Organize high-impact events that strengthen client and partner relationships, driving engagement and showcasing the company’s offerings.
  • Ensure events align with business goals, optimize budgets, and deliver exceptional experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management and a minimum of 5 years in a growth leadership role,with a proven track record of driving growth and closing high-value deals.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, managing high-value partnerships, and delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive results.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
  • Experience in planning and executing high-impact client and partner events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and develop effective strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of managing and mentoring growth teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
