An academic advocacy group, De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF) has commenced the 2025 scholarship examination for prospective JS1 students in Southeast Nigeria.
The exercise for Anambra State began on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Awka.
Speaking during the Anambra scholarship examination, Chief Chikezie Okonkwo, Chairman Education Committee of De Imperial Philanthropic Family, stated that this is the third phase of the DIPF scholarships exercise across the region comprises; Anambra, Enugu, Abia Imo and Ebonyi respectively.
The initiative according to Okonkwo, which started in 2023, aims to enroll ten thousand (10,000) students into the scholarship scheme.

“This gesture from De Imperial Philanthropic Family demonstrates opportunities for early support in secondary education across the Southeast.
“It is a scalable program with a long-term vision to empower thousands of students in the region.
“The 2025 DIPF scholarship exercise be conducted across the five Southeast states, with beneficiaries selected to receive educational support from JS1 to SS3 level, the Chairman noted.
Dr Frank Igbojindu, Chief Executive Officer of Best Brain Contest, commended De Imperial Philanthropic Family, ably led by it National President, High Chief Dr. Sir Darlington Nwabunike (Eze Nwakaibeya Ogbabalu Aku N’Anwu Ojoto), for their unwavering commitment to supporting the education of young people.
