It has not been easy going for Manchester United this season.
The Red Devils have overseen changes in regards to hierarchy, as well as managers.
United looked toothless under Erik ten Hag, and the club eventually sacked him.
Ruben Amorim has taken control, but even the Portuguese has struggled to get results in the short-term.
United currently sit 14th in the Premier League table.
It seems very much unlikely that the club will go on to finish in the Champions League spots.
Life hasn’t been easy going for the players too.
One player in particular has found it hard to produce performances of consistency this season.
Fans are beginning to lose full faith in the player.
Moreso, to the fact that his performances have led to Graeme Souness labelling him a ‘liability’.

That player is Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes, who has been a hot topic of discussion amongst the fans and media this season.
In his Mail Online column, former Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness ripped into the midfielder.
Souness described Fernandes as a player who possesses ‘negative’ energy.
He also believes the 30-year-old’s energy will be ‘damaging’ to young stars, such as Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo.
“Fernandes is easily the most talented player with the ball.
“But the rest of his game is lacking in a big way,” Souness wrote.
The former Liverpool midfielder criticised Fernandes’ behaviour and leadership, adding:
“From his antics when the game is not going well to constantly throwing arms in the air.
“Shrugging his shoulders at teammates and he wears the armband.”
“What example does he set for Mainoo, Diallo and [Alejandro] Garnacho?”
Highlighting Fernandes’ talent but lack of resilience, Souness said: “He certainly has [talent] but I think he has become a liability.”
Souness also went on to slam Fernandes’ behaviour in the famous 7-0 loss at Anfield in 2022/23 season.
“I will never get the image out of my head… he just threw the towel in, walking around pointing fingers.
“His actions at Anfield showed me where his mental toughness was, nowhere.”
“In successful dressing rooms, his negative reactions would have been ironed out in the very first week,” he continued.
“The big players would have been all over him… that is ‘shut the f*** up and have some of that.’”
United face a long season ahead after their Boxing Day defeat to Wolves.
Pressure is mounting on Ruben Amorim to turn results around.
Fernandes will be eager to redeem himself when United host Newcastle at Old Trafford.
