Beloved Cross Riverians, please tell me whether causing traffic hold ups on major roads in Calabar by the Police, Army, etc and only pointing touch lights on unsuspecting passengers and the car boots will unravel the dangerous criminals rampaging various households in Calabar and kidnapping and killing innocent souls?
Yesterday Edgerly Road was invaded with valuables carted away. Which way Calabar?

In what appears as an expression of disappointment over the recent security approach of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, in combating crime in the state capital, Calabar especially considering the perceived inefficiency and ineffectiveness of the Operation Show of Force initiated on the 9 of July as a fall out of 8 July state security council meeting, Prince Samuel Ikpeme went to his Facebook page to register the above statements yesterday.
According to Prince Ikpeme while security operatives where busy with addressing security concerns in major roads in the state capital, Calabar 16 July recorded the nefarious activities of criminal elements in Calabar South in Edgerly Road.
For Prince Ikpeme, the 'Stop & Search' approach of the team associated with the Operation Show of Force is ineffective. Albeit, Principal Ikpeme must have been outwitted, probably much as the governor, when he couldn't come up with alternative suggestions as he asked: 'Which way Calabar?'
Cross Riverians are calling on His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River, State Security Adviser of Cross River, Commissioner of Police- Zone 6, the various Armed Forces Service Chiefs, etc to step up their game.
