It was previously assumed that Stripe would join the cast of MultiVersus as the first Gremlins representative, but that job will actually be going to good ol’ Gizmo.

Player First Games released the official class breakdown card for Gizmo, which reveals some of cute and cuddly Mogwai’s moves in MultiVersus.

Those who watched the original 1984 Gremlins and its sequel will probably recognize all 3 of Gizmo’s confirmed abilities as neat references to the source material.

Hunter’s Bow allows Gizmo to charge and aim an arrow, which he can ignite when fully charged.

Gizmo-A-Go-Go causes the Mogwai to attach himself to the back of allies. We don’t yet know what the purpose of this is yet exactly, but considering Gizmo’s a support character, he may buff, heal or still be able to attack while attached to his teammate.

Song of the Mogwai is the final revealed special in the card, which spawns physical musical note projectiles as Gizmo sings you the song of his people.

While this gives us a pretty general idea of what the new character can do, there’s still more unknowns to his move list and play style, including what his fighter-specific perks will be.

Players won’t have to wait too much longer to see what Gizmo is fully capable of, however, since he’ll be releasing this Thursday, September 8 in MultiVersus.
