It was then Former Governor Liyel Imoke expressed his dissatisfaction about the way and manner the party leadership have continued in brazen disregard of the Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar because of their sworn allegiance to Governor Nyesom Wike who has vowed to denigrate the Presidential campaigns because of the zoning injustice meted on the Southern region of the country.
Venatius Ikem, the PDP Chairman of the state was said to have objected the former governor’s remarks in protest and it was then he was ordered out of the meeting.
Ikem in full flare resistance was then forced out by one of Liyel’s loyalists, simply known as Effa.
Our inside source added that Venatius was carried on the shoulders out of the meeting like a little child while the visibly angry Liyel kept yelling “Getout of my house”.
Ikem’s protest of not being present at the today’s rally have been given weight by the Governorship candidate of the PDP, Senator Sandy Onor who has also vowed not to attend the rally with his team.
Recall that both Ikem and Sandy were suspended indefinitely by former Governor Liyel as Commissioners for gross misconduct and misappropriation of funds.
