But only for some players
Chipotle seemingly came out of nowhere like last year as a major sponsor for the fighting game community, and it looks as though the restaraunt chain has moved on to the newest big game on the block.
Tekken 8 and Chipotle are now running their collaboration event that’ll let players earn Tekken Coins, order Tekken-approved food, and compete in the upcoming Chipotle Challenger Series tournaments.
Starting this week, users can receive a code for 500 Tekken Coins (or $5 USD of the premium currency) by ordering Chipotle in the app or online while using the code “EWGF623” at checkout.
Unfortunately for PC players, these Tekken Coins can only be claimed on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so Steam owners don’t get that option.
This deal is also limited to the first 20,000 people who purchase a qualifying order and use the code in the United States.
500 coins wouldn’t be quite enough for
To get even more coins, 250 reward points in the Chipotle app can be traded for 500 more Tekken Coins too though these are apparently limited to only 4,000 codes.
The first part of the TEKKEN 8 x @ChipotleTweets collaboration has begun!
You can earn 500 TEKKEN Coins every time you order any regular-priced entrée in the Chipotle app with the code EWGF623 or exchange your Chipotle Rewards points.

If you need a fitting order, the community previously voted on a Tekken 8 Battle Bowl with apparently over 38,000 responses where the following ingredients were decided upon: chicken, white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, fajita veggies, cheese, and guacamole.
Like we previously saw with Street Fighter 6 last year, the Chipotle Challenger Series is back featuring Tekken 8 this time, but the events are exclusive to PS5 owners.
Running from April 15–26, online open qualifiers will be held by registering in the PS5 Tournaments feature on the console.
A finals bracket will be held on May 4 where the top 16 players will split a share of $20,000 and more prizes.
First and second place both receive a free trip to Evo 2024 while the winner also earns $5,000 cash and free Chipotle for a year. It doesn’t specifically say on the site, but there’s a good chance the tournaments will be limited to the United States too.
More information can be found on the Tekken 8 promotion on the Chipotle website.
Note: EventHubs is not sponsored by or affiliated officially with Chipotle or Tekken 8.
