Mortal Kombat 1 offers multiple different ways to get your hands on new skins and costumes, and it looks like we can add another to that list.
NetherRealm Studios revealed a new campaign today to earn some exclusive skins for Mortal Kombat 1 through watching Twitch streams for a limited time.
Interested players need to go to this page on the WB Games website where they can then sign in to their Warner Bros. Games account and connect it to their Twitch account go get the ball rolling.
From there, users can get skins for Holy Hell/Killing Time Ashrah, Wasting Disease/Binge Watcher Baraka and Hot Minute/Packing Heat Scorpion, which all seem to be a fitting purple palette for the fighters.
Ashrah is the first that can be obtained for watching one hour of Mortal Kombat 1 streams on Twitch, Baraka is second up for two hours of watch time and Scorpion at three hours with progress able to be checked on the Twitch Drops Inventory page.
Once complete, the skins should unlock in your copy of MK1 connected to the WB Games account without any extra steps needed though the FAQ says you can still get them even if you don’t have the game yet as long as you have the WB account.
This promotion is only going to be able to available for a week, so you’ve got until April 29 at 11:59 p.m. PDT to get those three hours in.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen special fighting game Twitch campaigns, but we’re not going to say no to free stuff.
