Germany national team coach Julian Nagelsmann who has been linked to Manchester United and Newcastle United in the past has reportedly been offered a contract by an unknown Premier League team.

This is as reported by German source Stefan Kumberger.

Sports Zone had in February reported that Nagelsmann was seen as the prime candidate to replace ten Hag as United manager.

Despite being only 35, the young manager has already garnered a ton of experience with stints at top clubs including RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.

He was let go at Bayern last March but he wasn’t free for long as the German Football Federation quickly snapped him up to replace Hansi Flick.

He is now in charge of the German Machine albeit his contract expires right after the Euros so it is understandable why clubs are knocking at his door.

Sky Sports Germany via Express had last month reported that Nagelsmann was keen on returning to club management after his national team contract expires.

This report had clearly detailed how the young manager was planning on announcing his 2024/25 plans before the Euros as he seeks to avoid any kind of negotiations distraction through the tournament.

As such, whichever club that signs will have to hold off Pre season plans for a little while until the Euros end.

It will be interesting to see which is this ‘unknown Premier League club’ that has offered Nagelsmann a contract.

It however may not be that straightforward as the German Federation have already shown a desire to extend Nagelsmann’s contract beyond the Euros.

Nagelsmann himself also stated that if the federation offered him a new contract beyond the Euros, he would be willing to accept it.

“If I have a contract offer before the European Championship that I am happy with and where I say I feel comfortable and where I see myself, then there is a high probability that I will sign it before the European Championship,” he told reporters last month.
