Georgia COVID cases are on the increase and experts warn buyers to be cautious

ATLANTA, GA (AP) — COVID instances in Georgia have increased in recent months, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s website.

However, medical experts such as Dr Cecil Bennett advise not to panic but to be cautious as summer approaches.

“We know more people are out and about now that the weather is warming up, and we’re congregating in more areas,” he continued. “Because we’re not wearing masks, it’s probable that incidents will increase.”

One week moving average of fresh cases as of 25 May 2022 was slightly more than 2,000, as per the data given by the state division of public health.

They are only the cases that have been reported, according to Dr. Bennett.

Bennett also emphasized the seriousness of recent events, mentioning numerous of his patients who he stated had very minor symptoms.

“I believe that, although the number of cases may grow in the future, the disease will be far less severe,” he said.
