Where you may see a hot dog, a fork, and a fried chicken wing, @LowCostCosplay sees the likes of Dhalsim, Vega, and Chun-Li from the Street Fighter franchise. This creative cosplay from Bangkok, Thailand has a knack for seeing patterns and potential where the rest of us don’t, and, thankfully, only uses his powers for good.
Today we’re featuring three of LCC’s latest creations as he uses only items found in his kitchen to transform himself into the three aforementioned, iconic Street Fighter characters.
It really is worth scrolling through LCC’s portfolio to see just how many connections he makes. Finished products look insanely simple, but one has to wonder just how much finagling goes into getting just the right lighting and angles to make the magic seem real.
LowCostCosplay turns a paper plate and a fork into an unmistakeable Vega. He turns a few hotdogs and a green soda tab into Dhalsim, and a chicken wing dipped in ranch into Chun-Li.
It all looks so effortless, almost to the point that one feels encouraged to walk out to the kitchen and see if inspiration suddenly strikes. Still, you know in the back of your head that even if you did see Akuma in your Froot Loops, or M. Bison in your french toast, actually making a convincing cosplay out of it would likely be a challenge yet.
