The line of activities are part of the Honourable Speaker’s (in the person of Rt. Hon John Gaul Lebo) kind gesture to the good people of Yakurr, as he feels the people of Yakurr should celebrate their festival in good health, which informed the rationale behind him bringing medical succor to the people; especially to the aged (elderly citizens) and the general masses who might not be able to afford quality health care services.
The first day saw over a thousand persons attended to right on the spot by the medical team said to be on standby, while the one week stretch of medical intervention is expected to reach out to the people in their thousands.
Indegenes of Yakurr who might want to seize this opportunity to seek medical attention at no cost, are advised to avail themselves of this ample opportunity to get free treatments from the team of medical personnels who will readily be on standby to ensure every person who comes out for the medical outreach are attended to, and if there be need for referrals, it would be treated accordingly.
